Most of the snow is now carved out of the sculpture. Now we concentrate on details and sanding.
We got invited by the city of Whitehorse (at least this is what we think it was) to a traditional dinner. People were dressed very nicely and we must say it was a good idea not go there directly from the carving area but have a shower first 🙂
Yesterday the opening party took place. It was amazing to see how all the people melt together. Of course there is competition but at the same time we felt a very strong spirit. Teams across the globe built a community or should I say family? Well it’s up to the teams to decide on this but …
